Edward Michael Sandridge

Edward Michael Sandridge is a cinematographer based in San Francisco. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, EM showed an aptitude for photography, videography, and storytelling at an early age. He studied at Loyola University Chicago and graduated from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, majored in cinematography and studied under Kenn Ferro (steadycam operator “40 Days and 40 Nights” (2002) and "Bottle Shock" (2008). 

In his work, Edward Michael Sandridge focuses on documentaries, music videos, commercial branding videos, as well as personal and professional video profiles. He has created hundreds of videos working with Rose Rose Productions, The Method Makers, Campari, Bloom Studios, and ITS THEM Brand Consulting. Edward Michael Sandridge has created video content on both coasts, Europe, and Japan for the past 10 years.  


His films were featured at the San Francisco 24-hour Film Festival, the San Francisco Black Film Festival, and the LA Underground Film Festival.


Regardless of the type of project, his goal as cinematographer is to create visuals that will tell a story and evoke the emotions of the viewer. The end pursuit? Making the world a more empathetic and beautiful place.
